How do thrust ball bearings work?

wallpapers Industry 2020-05-25
Thrust ball bearings are a special type of rotating ball bearings. Like other ball bearings, they allow rotation between parts, but they are designed to support high axial loads (parallel to the shaft) while supporting them. High-speed applications require oil lubrication. Usually, they consist of two washers (raceways), which can be grooved on the rolling ball elements that are usually held. In contrast to roller thrust bearings, ball thrust bearings can usually run at higher speeds but with lower loads.
Here comes some tips on selecting a thrust ball bearings:
1. Thrust bearings must be placed in pairs.
2. The hole (d size) of a gasket (smaller) in the kit will meet the specifications.
3. The hole (d size) of the matching washer will be ~ 0.007 inches larger because it is a through hole for the shaft.
